New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2015 Day 4

What a wonderful Sunday full of fashion, glamour, and extravagance! Weather was really chilly but nothing bothered me anymore!

The day started with Ranfan, a designer who delivered us amazing pieces featuring avant-garde fur, impressive structure, draping, unusual silhouettes and bright colors, especially orange that inhabits the brand’s logo too!

Then it was Carmen Marc Valvo with his signature black & red contrast, and a collection revolving around plaid, in its casual and dressier version. There was superior craftsmanship in these collection and great sophistication in reinterpreting this classic motif – a big trend for FW15!

We saw plaid at Custo Barcelona too, along with signature mishmash pieces, innovation in fabrics, cool shiny staff (another trend for FW15) and impressive motifs in bold colors and oversized silhouettes!

Finally, at Parkchoonmoo I was blown away by the signature layering, the the cozy futurism characterizing the collection. There was a cocoon spirit in all clothes, especially outerwear, and yet it didn’t look old-fashioned. And it was so expressive, eye-catching and modern, although limited to neutrals, especially black and grey. I adored it!

Stay tuned for more because Monday will be very busy!

Love!!!

Elena
