It’s been a couple of days that I am using this new mascara – Lancôme’s Hypnôse Doll Eyes – and I am totally impressed with its features. Most of all it has an amazing brush, narrow at the tip and wide in its base, which means that you can easily penetrate towards the tear duct and put some color even to the tiniest eyelashes, those ones on the inner corner of the eye. On top of that, the brush’s fine hairs are smartly and wisely arranged in a manner that raises the lashes further, without layering on them too much product that could weigh them down. The mascara advocates the doll-like effect on lashes, something that we have seen in many catwalk shows for Spring/Summer 2011, especially at Missoni, Dior, Milly, Anna Sui, Versace, Chanel which went back to style icons like Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot. It seems that this product urges women to quit fake lashes, achieving almost the same effect and skipping cheesy exaggerations. You can easily have the lashes of celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Natalie Portman, Paris Hilton, Anne Hathaway, Katy Perry and Penelope Cruz, using this mascara, as I am doing right this moment. The product can also be noted for its delicious flowery perfume, a clear reference to the brand’s roses printed in grey on its sleek, black, curvy bottle. I love this packaging! Just before I had a DiorShow mascara in my beauty case, which is still my favorite, competing though with my new one, the more playful version of it. Let’s see which one is going to attract me more and stay in my beauty treasury for longer!
