If you are looking for a spectacular romantic dress, the Fall/Winter 2020 Brock Collection by duo Kris Brock and Laura Vassar is the one to look into. It all comes from their love for antique details and precious old fabrics. Then it develops into neutral florals, burnout velvets and motifs that vaguely reference old faced oil paintings. There is an artistic and slightly Victorian element to them but the silhouettes are far more lightweight and frivolous. Checks, florals, multiple ruffles and a timid off-the-shoulder neckline speak of a flirty nostalgic mood. The equestrian theme is implied everywhere; including the riding boots. Illusion layering is another cool element. Last but not least, a roomy black tuxedo stands as a sign of minimalism that might be carried on within the collection in the future.
