For Fall/Winter 2021, as presented digitally at the NYFW, Kim Shui is inspired by that island trip she didn’t go on. Slinky silk with mesh and velvet in vibrant colors allude to her imaginary escape. Exotic prints and colors, sensual & playful cutouts, bodycon silhouettes, sarong-style knot-ties, ruched details, halter necks, asymmetric hems, and different textures bring a tropical-vacation feel in the middle of a heavy winter. Colorful psychedelic motifs are mesmerizing, a pure temptation. What if sunshine was the norm? These would have been the clothes to wear! Still, these are also the ones that can bring it back to our hearts and minds!
