K-Fashion Takes Center Stage in Paris: RE RHEE, MMAM & EENK Impress with Artistic FW25 Showcase

RE RHEE

Among Korea’s most forward-thinking designers—RE RHEE, MMAM, and EENK—brought a vibrant fusion of fashion, performance, and contemporary art to life during Paris Fashion Week with their Fall/Winter 2025 collections under the Concept Korea initiative. Hosted by KOCCA at the iconic Palais de Tokyo on March 7, the multisensory event proved to be a masterclass in boundary-pushing creativity, echoing Korea’s growing global influence in both fashion and cultural innovation. The day opened with a dual show by RE RHEE and MMAM.

RE RHEE, designed by Lee Jun-bok and Joo Hyun-jung, presented “Forms of Resonance,” a poetic collaboration with jazz vocalist Nah Youn Sun. This lyrical performance blurred the lines between music and tailoring, with garments that captured a timeless elegance through sleek lines and architectural layering.

MMAM, designed by Park Hyun, answered with “Contrasting Layers,” featuring a choreography-led runway experience where models floated like dancers in sculptural pieces, highlighting fluidity and motion in design.

Later in the afternoon, EENK by designer Lee Hye-mi took the stage with a collection inspired by the Bottari series by Korean conceptual artist Kim Soo-ja. The showcase blended tradition and innovation, featuring layered coats and airy silks that referenced the heritage of Korean wrapping cloths while embracing a distinctly modern edge. The interplay of soft textures and bold silhouettes captured the attention of industry insiders and press alike.

MMAM

This edition of Concept Korea underscored the continued mission of KOCCA and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to champion K-fashion on the global stage. Strategic partnerships with leading fashion media, including Vogue France and Modem, helped amplify the global resonance of the show.

EENK

As South Korea’s influence continues to grow in both the cultural and sartorial landscapes, the FW25 showcase proved that RE RHEE, MMAM, and EENK are not just brands to watch—they are redefining the rhythm of modern fashion.
