New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2021 – Cinq à Sept Refreshes Boho-Chic

Wearability and playful, sophisticated details are the main goals of this brand. Femininity and balance, a discreet fashion statement to be appreciated among fashionistas, are keywords for the Cinq à Sept FW21 collection, presented digitally at the NYFW. Let’s go through the designer’s notes and pick our favorite looks!

The Cinq à Sept Fall 2021 collection pays homage to the 1960s and 1970’s era of free love and effortless, free fashion. True to the times, traditional bohemian prairie dresses in a seersucker stripe and patchwork corduroy are juxtaposed with edgier Rock and Roll inspired styles like the super-stretch Nico pant and embellished Cheyenne blazer. The bringing together of the 1960’s Flower-Power era and beat/boho culture results in a relaxed and free-spirited, playful, and sexy collection. The use of collars and bold, richly colored prints is inspired by brand muses, Pattie Boyd and Marianne Faithfull. The chunky plaid Mackenzie coat worn as a dress and paired with colorful tights embodies their youthful bohemian style.
