I was originally planning to keep my NY MB Fashion Week outfits a bit secret from you, so as to surprise you more early September, but in fact I can’t help sharing them with you before the events. It was actually casual fittings at home, to see the final combinations, and be confident with my looks before showing up. What you see here is a very fancy dress from NY-based couturier Mikael Aghal – a ready-to-wear piece fully sequined in gunmetal hues. This could be just an evening dress worn with heels, but this time I’m going to make it different combining with my can’t live-without-them-in-nyc Marc by Marc Jacobs silver wedge sneakers, and with my lace-in-pvc Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. A party dress turns out to be more fun, girly, and almost back-to-school. I’m so excited with this combo, even though I know that it will be hard to walk in it around Manhattan early in the morning. Most of the days there will be shows starting at 9am and I will not have enough time to change outfits in between. One of those days I will be wearing this sparkly dress all day long! What a challenge! Of course I know that people in NYC are very tolerant with extreme styling and edgy looks! I chose those shoes, because fashion week requires lots of walking, so I really need to feel comfy. For the rest of my crazy NY MB Fashion Week outfits, I’ll keep you posted. So stay tuned because they are insane! Scroll down for more pictures and details of my sparkly look!
