ECCO’s Milan Pop-Up: Natacha Ramsay-Levi & Iginio Massari Headline a Design Week Moment

In the heart of Milan, ECCO unveils a new chapter with the debut of its first Italian pop-up store. Opening its doors from April 18 to May 17, 2026, at Via Borgogna 5 near Piazza San Babila, the space arrives as a curated expression of contemporary design, timed to coincide with the global spotlight of Milan Design Week 2026.

The boutique’s 95-square-meter interior channels a distinctly Scandinavian sensibility, where minimalism meets tactile richness. Natural materials, clean architectural lines, and a thoughtful spatial narrative transform the store into more than a retail destination. It becomes an immersive environment that invites visitors into ECCO’s world, where craftsmanship and innovation unfold with quiet precision.

The official opening on April 21 promises a refined celebration, elevated by the presence of Iginio Massari, whose name is synonymous with Italian excellence. For the occasion, he will present an exclusive selection of haute pâtisserie creations inspired by the brand, blending culinary artistry with design in a multisensory dialogue.

At the core of the pop-up experience lies the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, presented as a narrative journey through ECCO’s most emblematic designs. The spotlight shines on the exclusive BIOM 720 drop, created in collaboration with Natacha Ramsay-Levi, formerly creative director of Chloé. The sneaker encapsulates ECCO’s forward-thinking ethos, merging advanced BIOM technology with fluid comfort and a distinctly modern aesthetic.

The space also offers a preview of the ECCO.Kollektive Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, a collaborative platform that brings together leading creative voices including Craig Green, Yosuke Aizawa of White Mountaineering, and Ramsay-Levi herself. This initiative reflects ECCO’s commitment to experimentation, where artisanal heritage intersects with progressive design research.
