Oudifu: Amazing Wild-Life Motifs!

There was abundant Chinese talent during NYFW SS15! Among the various designers that decided to make an overture to the American market was Oudifu; a Shanghai-based ready-to-wear luxury brand. Its multi-awarded Creative Director, Zhuliang Li, presented an interesting, relevant collection mostly dominated by elephant motifs in various playful versions. It was cute and wearable, fresh and versatile. Beyond the prints I spotted some very cool denim pieces (a tailored dress and couple of ripped-and-patched cropped pants) and two fabulous fluid black ankle-length gowns; plus you could see the gorgeous elephant prints on accessories (scarves and handbags).

The designer was inspired by the natural elements of the environment projecting his views about man and nature. Using animal motifs, his message is the preservation of the natural habitat. Mixing those beliefs with his vision about clothes that are modern, saleable and applicable to all body types, he proves that an eco-friendly attitude can really develop within the urban setting itself, as long as we are thoughtful and responsible.

Zhuliang Li is no stranger to the fashion world. His wearable shapes and whimsical fabrics have been shown in China and worldwide. The collection consists of chic accessories such as shoes, handbags and glamorous clothing for women. He is featured in over 200 retail doors in China. And I wish him good luck to his venture in the American market too! Check him as @oudifu on Twitter, and Instagram!

Love you All!!!
