Nicholas K: Raw Femininity!

Playing always around the idea of the urban nomad and creating edgy wearable looks in a basic palette of colors and in cozy forms, designer duo and siblings Nicholas Kunz & Christopher Kunz showcased an adorably modern FW15 collection to the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week style-savvy audience. They definitely talked about raw, uncontrived female elegance!

To create their roomy, layered silhouettes, the designers used distressed leather, stretchy lambskin, shearling, wool meltons, cozy mohair, pinstriped wool, and silk satin. They detailed/accessorized the looks with monochrome sequins, a distinctive hand-dyed web labyrinth print, industrial metal buckles, lambskin opera gloves and Bresciani silk stockings. They finally picked as their color palette shades like oxblood, vamp, rust, gunmetal, and black.

There was a cocoon spirit in this collection with asymmetrical warm fabrics hugging and wrapping the body in many different ways; yet those girls are not meant to stay home. They are infinite travelers and explorers, experimental in attitude and unpretentious in character. Let’s take this stylish journey together!

Love!!!
