A Specially Scented Catwalk!

tagliapietra_min1Designers Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra are making up a successful duo of creativity giving their own distinctive version of laid-back, confident femininity and quality of life. Imagine their signature style translated into perfume customized for their FW15 New York Fashion Week show; a result of an already tested collaboration between Costello Tagliapietra and MiN New York luxury perfumerie! The mesmerizing result deliciously filled up the space at Lincoln Center where pieces from their latest collection once again endorsed the art of living.

The designers described their collection as “the magical romanticism of the forest. Deep spruces and wooded browns with touches of wines, golds and teals. Fabrics knitted to look like thick knitted sweaters and embroideries thread tracing the lines of a plaid.” The scent was ideally complementing their creations!

Mindy Yang, Vice President of MiN New York further explained: “to score this beautiful production, we composed an original fragrance inspired by Costello Taliapietra’s mood boards for this collection. Using our Old School Bench (MiN New York Scent Stories, Volume One) as a base, notes of bergamot, angelica root, green grass, lily of the valley, wood wax, rum, cedar wood, vanilla, patchouli, vetiver roots, and hay will greet you upon arrival and bid you farewell.”

“As Designers and Artists of Olfaction, we create fragrances to inspire or provoke,” stated Chad Murawczyk, CEO & Founder of MiN New York. “In this way, a perfume becomes alive. It’s magical, meaningful, emotional… integrated with your memory and becomes deeply experienced.”

You can’t easily put into words the actual experience; a scented catwalk is not an ordinary thing!

Yet I would say that it was totally welcoming and desirable! Love!!!
