It was very pleasant to hear that an internationally accessible archive of Valentino’s work and legacy to the world of fashion has been created at the designer’s Château de Wideville in a two-story former hay barn. Students from all over the world will have the chance to come in contact with the full scale version of his approach to style and appreciate it even more. It is an amazing idea which will encourage more veterans to follow. The archive includes photos, digitally produced imagery, original Valentino drawings and many other surprises. Even more fascinating about this tour is that soon will be held in combination with recorded descriptions from Valentino himself, in his own voice!
