Francesco Fucci – with design experience from the ultra-minimalist luxury house of The Row – has created easy-to-mix high-end basics that are inspired by the designer’s visit to the Archaeological Museum of Naples that is graced with Farnese marble masterpieces and ancient roman architectural segments, hence the beautiful neutral shades. The silhouettes are fluid, loose-fitting, elongated, and on some cases layered. They exude nonchalance and confidence. Add to the new collection of year-round Theory Staples these SS20 standouts to create a meaningful wardrobe for a busy lifestyle.
Cream and white ensembles are sharp yet they feel comfy. Different shades of white are mixed together. The jackets we saw are each with their own personality, destined to dress different types of woman or the same girl at different moments. We love the maxi wide-leg pants as well as the cargo style mixed with white pumps.
Flared below-the-knee skirts are equally elegant to fluid sheath dresses at midi-length that can be combined with flared pants. Meticulously detailed oversize lightweight outerwear, including cool trenchcoats, serve perfectly the idea of chic layering. Knitted pieces are equally charming.
