New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013 Day 7

It was another super busy day at NYC’s MB Fashion Week! It all started with the luxuriously grungy creations of Brandon Sun, featuring fur, leather, prints and layering. It continued with a more earthy-toned Nanette Lepore collection with futuristic details. The designer proved to be edgier than ever! Then I met Zuzu Kim at her little presentation at the Empire Hotel, with some very interesting medieval-themed clothes. It was all about great tailoring, expensive fabrics and figure-flattering forms. Space-age glamour with lots of metallics was Falguni & Shane Peacock’s contribution to the Fashion Week, with ultra modern evening-wear and clothes that pop stars will fall in love with! From this high-volume fashion scene we then moved to a world of harmony and perfection at the Clover Canyon presentation which mixed its signature prints with ballet-themed details, crystals and all that girly girls adore! You have to see the shoes! Unimaginable! Finally, I went to the always flamboyant and popular show of the very talented and sweet Zang Toi, which was Russian-inspired as well! There were all these nice gowns and hats, wonderful embroidery and sparkle.
