Le Silla Statement Footwear was the Cherry on Top at LaQuan Smith’s FW26 Show in NYC

New York Fashion Week thrives on moments when fashion and craftsmanship merge into a single, unforgettable visual language. For Fall/Winter 2026–2027, Italian footwear house Le Silla delivered exactly that as the exclusive footwear partner for LaQuan Smith’s highly anticipated runway presentation, unveiling a collection of statement heels designed to move with confidence, sensuality, and precision.

Set against the electric energy of New York, the show framed footwear not as an accessory but as an essential extension of the silhouette. Styled by renowned fashion editor Patti Wilson, the presentation embraced a powerful narrative of modern glamour, where every step amplified the attitude of the collection. Le Silla’s contribution centered on elevated femininity expressed through sculptural lines, dramatic height, and tactile finishes. The house’s signature Italian craftsmanship translated seamlessly onto the runway, reinforcing the dialogue between bold fashion expression and meticulous shoemaking.

The Colette thigh-high boot emerged as one of the defining statements of the show. Rendered in striking cherry-red leather and rising dramatically along the leg, the lace-up design introduced a commanding presence. Its sharp 120 mm stiletto heel elongated proportions, creating a silhouette that balanced power with elegance. The boot embodied a confident energy aligned perfectly with the show’s daring mood.

Equally compelling was the Eva thigh-high boot, presented in a brown vintage-effect finish that evoked lived-in luxury. Oversized yet refined, the design offered a sense of movement and fluidity while maintaining architectural structure. The exaggerated shaft added volume and drama, proving that height and softness can coexist within a single design language.

Classic sophistication appeared through the Eva pump, a sleek black leather style that demonstrated the enduring allure of minimalism when executed with precision. Its sharply sculpted 120 mm heel reinforced Le Silla’s mastery of proportion, allowing the shoe to complement the runway’s bold tailoring without overpowering it.

Texture played a central role in the Petalo pump, showcased in black suede calf leather. The design gained distinction through its gold petal-shaped stiletto heel, a sculptural detail that transformed the shoe into wearable art. Each step revealed flashes of metallic brilliance, adding dimension and light to the overall styling.

The collection also revisited the Colette boot in a knee-high version crafted from brown vintage-effect leather with lace-up detailing. This interpretation introduced versatility while maintaining the brand’s unmistakable sensual aesthetic, bridging strength and refinement through material and construction.

Throughout the show, the footwear reinforced a cohesive narrative: shoes designed not merely to accompany fashion but to define posture, movement, and presence. Le Silla’s runway partnership highlighted how expertly engineered heels can shape the rhythm of a collection, guiding the viewer’s eye from silhouette to stride.
