A Sydney-based talented designer with international reputation, who has managed since his debut at Couture Fashion Week in New York (2007) to express herself better through fashion, showcased recently at Athens Fashion Week his edgy & stylish Menswear Fall/Winter 2011/12 Collection. With Italian flair and playful mood, Cristina presented many beautifully combined dual-toned shirts, jackets and coats matched with leather pants and worn over nothing, that impressed us with their simplicity and boldness. Nitopi stresses a double-faced identity, which can hold for every man. A flexible style incorporating both a dark and a luminous side, a trendy and a classic one, was the key concept. Pattern and non-pattern, textured and non-textured, neutral and flashy sides in each look, urged most men watching the show to try something new at some point, going one step further from their conventional wardrobe, skipping even their long established lapels on the jackets and adopting unusual, sharply geometrical or Chanel-like, necklines.
