Cinq à Sept Fall/Winter 2022: Wearability with a Twist

For FW22, Cinq à Sept infused wearability with a wow factor. These clothes are comfy, easy-to-mix, and effortless, but also stylish, definitely appealing to a fashion-savvy crowd. Let’s see how the designer team explains it all, the vision, the creativity, and the parameters that bring forward such a chic and balanced effect.

“When we launched Cinq à Sept, we were inspired by the moment the sun turns a rosy tint, and the evening is filled with romance and possibility. Last season, we were ready to step out into the world again – albeit slowly.

For Fall 2022, we thought about the impact of recent events and how the past few years impelled our minds to reconsider what once was. We took away unnecessary layers to reveal a more sensual, softer side of dressing that still meets the need of evolving life today.

Colors are drawn from the 18th-century gardens at Versailles in hues of Calla Lily, Lilac Grey, Pink Azalea, Ruby Red, and Gold. The lush gardens and romantic scents from within inform this season’s color palette. The palette immediately evokes a traditionally feminine feel reminiscent of decadent patisseries, love, and optimism. The collection is complete with “new noir”, where all black dressing comes back into focus.

Evolved prints can be seen throughout the line, inspired by the French neoclassical period. Structured, feminine designs with corset lines and grosgrain details are juxtaposed with masculine silhouettes but without constriction – presenting a collection that embodies freedom of expression and unapologetic flair.

We continue to think beyond restriction and shift towards optimism. Our collection is to be worn but, most importantly, to deliver a sense of ease without constraint and fuss.”
