For Spring/Summer 2014 Charlotte Ronson created a collection for the romantic hipsters! With her amazing florals, bodycon dresses and capri pants, she describes a Parisian girl living in NYC. At the MB Fashion Week presentation we saw lots of cut-out patterns, smart clues on high-school carefree spirit, cool versions of leather clothes, charming prints, fresh motifs, cute Peter Pan collars, paneling, draping, cropping, and at the top of the list endless ‘it’ accessories! It’s the clothes of a young girl who grows up in a world of sophistication and great influences.
Silhouettes were super interesting with smart details that somehow give us more than one options of each look. The designer offers us an array of possibilities to mix & match the separates or layer over dresses and overalls. Tomboyish accents are always there but in my opinion this has more to do with the wearable version of femininity! Charlotte in a way tells us that girls always know better!!!
