In a unique dialogue between family legacy and modern fashion, P. Le Moult introduces its new capsule collection titled Cotons Marbrés. Created in collaboration with the Alain Brieux Bookstore in Paris, this series draws inspiration from the poetic beauty of marbled endpapers found in antique books—those swirling, delicate patterns that once signified care and craftsmanship. That same spirit now flows through the brand’s intricately designed garments.
At the heart of P. Le Moult is Praline Le Moult, an artist and designer who happens to be the great-granddaughter of the legendary entomologist Eugène Le Moult. Known as one of the most prolific butterfly collectors of the 20th century, Eugène lived a life full of exploration, scientific curiosity, and practical elegance. Praline has taken that adventurous legacy and reimagined it for today’s world, blending traditional techniques with imaginative styling.
Rather than follow seasonal trends, P. Le Moult focuses on timeless silhouettes that evoke utility, comfort, and refined relaxation. The Cotons Marbrés collection features loungewear and travel-ready pieces—like flowing nightshirts, relaxed-fit trousers, and belted jackets—all crafted from soft, natural cotton digitally printed with custom marbled motifs. The result is a kind of wearable art that bridges past and present.
The unisex designs are meant to be worn freely, without gender rules, inviting a slow and thoughtful approach to dressing. Everything is cut and sewn with meticulous attention, staying true to the brand’s belief in quality over quantity. Made in family-run workshops using sustainable materials, each item feels like a relic and a modern treasure all at once.
More than just clothing, Cotons Marbrés serves as a quiet rebellion against fast fashion. Every piece tells a story—of exploration, personal identity, and respect for craftsmanship. In wearing P. Le Moult, you carry not just fabric, but fragments of history, memory, and nature, gently reinterpreted for the now.
