During Milan Fashion Week, at Moiré Gallery Milano a very special presentation took place, one that gave all a good reason to shop elegantly and thoughtfully. Known for blending fashion, art, and purpose, the gallery unveiled a new concept collection titled “Come una volta”—an homage to the quiet luxury of traditional tailoring, reimagined with contemporary consciousness.
Curated by the gallery’s visionary founder Ouafa Lotfi Tahoun, the collection introduces a timeless triptych of women’s wardrobe staples: the skirt, the suit vest, and the double-breasted jacket. The name “Come una volta,” meaning “As in the past,” captures the spirit of the project, which encourages a return to slower, more intentional fashion. In stark contrast to mass production, this capsule celebrates the beauty of minimal pieces made to last—garments that are versatile, well-constructed, and created with the client’s needs in mind.
A unique aspect of the offering lies in its made-to-order and co-design approach. Clients will be able to choose from luxurious fabrics like cool wool and charmelaine, and personalize their garments by selecting colors, fit, and finishes. The result is fashion that not only fits beautifully but also reflects individual identity—delivered with artisanal precision and emotional value.
The silhouettes reflect a masterful balance of structure and femininity: softly flared half-circle skirts, snug vests with five-button detailing, and sharp, masculine-inspired jackets that speak to empowerment. The clean lines and subdued palette—shades of navy, beige, and grey—enhance the versatility of each piece, offering everyday elegance for the modern woman.
Alongside the collection, the gallery spotlights a limited-edition jewelry project: ACP con Cuamm, designed by Angelica Sacchi, Camilla Contia, and Paola Montagna. Proceeds from the pieces will benefit Doctors with Africa CUAMM, Italy’s first NGO focused on healthcare, underscoring Moiré Gallery’s ongoing commitment to socially engaged fashion.
With the “Come una volta” launch, Moiré Gallery Milano reaffirms its status as a destination for ethical luxury, where the boundaries between style, substance, and sustainability continue to blur in all the right ways.
The fashion collection “Come una volta” and the jewels “ACP con Cuamm” will be available at Moiré Gallery Milano throughout the fall/winter 2025/2026 season.
