Scoops of Style: Fratelli Rossetti Serves “La Cremeria” for Spring/Summer 2026

During Milan Fashion Week, Fratelli Rossetti transformed its showroom at Piazza San Carlo 2 into a vision of summertime indulgence. The occasion marked the debut of the house’s Spring/Summer 2026 women’s collection, aptly titled “La Cremeria – Scooping Tradition, Serving Elegance.” The concept blended playful nostalgia with refined design, turning the presentation into a multisensory journey through Italian craftsmanship and modern sophistication.

A taste of Italian summer

For this collection, Fratelli Rossetti imagined its creations as flavors in an artisanal gelateria. The showroom unfolded like an elegant ice-cream parlor, where each shoe group corresponded to a flavor—hazelnut, vanilla, fior di latte, chocolate, stracciatella, dark chocolate, strawberry, and wild berries—each one translated through a carefully studied color palette. The result was a fresh, joyful interpretation of summer, where texture and tone echoed the warmth and lightness of the season.

The art of the shoe

At the heart of “La Cremeria” was the Brera loafer, a timeless emblem of the brand, now reinvented in unexpected forms and materials. A ballerina version in woven straw stood out for its delicate craftsmanship, while a newly introduced slipper model showcased remarkable suppleness and ease.

The maison’s renowned weaving technique appeared this season with threads of gold, giving each piece a subtle glow. Leather paillettes, applied through an intricate threading process, adorned loafers, sandals, and flip-flops, offering a tactile brilliance that felt both luxurious and modern.

Embroidery also played a key role, featuring a motif reminiscent of a treasure chest—an apt metaphor for the brand’s heritage of artisanal mastery. The “stracciatella” theme, expressed through crisp black-and-white contrasts, highlighted sculptural details on strap loafers and refined pumps, balancing minimalism with character.

A story of craftsmanship and renewal

Every element of the collection reaffirmed Fratelli Rossetti’s dedication to Italian artistry. Seven decades of expertise were reflected in each stitch and silhouette, showcasing how the brand continues to evolve while honoring its heritage.

The interplay of color, material, and technique revealed a sophisticated harmony that defines the maison’s identity—heritage interpreted through innovation, with an eye on the future.

A refined sensorial experience

Rather than a conventional showcase, “La Cremeria” was conceived as an experience—an invitation to step into a world of flavor, texture, and light. The presentation blurred the boundary between art and fashion, suggesting that elegance can engage all senses. It was a gentle reminder that luxury lies not only in form but in feeling.

From the luminous golden weaves to the pastel pinks and deep cocoa tones, every detail reflected an effortless blend of comfort and style. The shoes exuded the ease of Italian summer living, yet remained rooted in the precision and sophistication that have long defined Fratelli Rossetti.

A season to savor

For those present, the event captured the essence of summer through the language of craftsmanship. “La Cremeria” distilled the sweetness of Italian tradition into objects of quiet beauty—footwear that moves gracefully between classic and contemporary, much like the women who will wear them.
