I was wearing these golden-heel ivory and forest green Marni Edition loafers during the greatest part of my trip to NYC for the MB Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013. They were comfortable, easy-to-wear and attracted a huge wave of attention not only by the photographers at Lincoln Center but also by simple people on the streets of Manhattan. These amazing statement pieces of the season are not that easy to find in stores, since there are other similar styles that were mostly chosen by department stores such as Berdorf Goodman and Barney’s. I had a wonderful time wearing them and I was completely flattered by people’s comments. Worn with white back-to-school socks of various heights as well as white opaque tights, they were the perfect companion for every fashionable outfit I designed as part of my first ever Capsule Collection of clothes. These shoes, as my favorite designer Victoria Beckham would put it: ‘were really major’! And that’s why I actually matched them with a Victoria, Victoria Beckham dress and got a shot from this amazing blog the Stylelist.com, an interview in Youtube channel AnneorShine etc. I got also my wonderful Rochas shoes with me but Marnis won them over in terms of comfort and edginess. Just Love them! Wearing them in this picture with my Kenzo boiled-wool front-flap mini skirt.
