Mantù enters Spring/Summer 2027 with a beautifully focused proposition: fashion that leaves room for the woman herself. Rooted in simplicity, femininity and the cultivated sophistication of Made in Italy, the collection turns restraint into something sensual, tactile and quietly expressive.
There is a particular confidence to clothes that have nothing to prove. Mantù’s Spring/Summer 2027 wardrobe is conceived around that idea, allowing silhouette, fabric and movement to speak with subtlety. Clean, essential lines follow the body without restricting it, creating a sense of ease in which personality remains the strongest statement.
And then comes tangerine. Warm, optimistic and impossible to overlook, the shade provides one of the collection’s most memorable color moments. Its citrus intensity feels made for summer, bringing energy to Mantù’s composed aesthetic and illuminating the season’s refined silhouettes. Navy blue adds depth and precision, shades of pink introduce a softer feminine register, and flashes of red deliver further intensity. Beige restores a sense of natural calm, allowing brighter tones to breathe.
It is a palette that captures the changing moods of a summer wardrobe: vibrant one moment, serene the next. Yet much of the seduction of Mantù SS27 reveals itself through touch. Fabric research plays a defining role, transforming ostensibly simple shapes through surfaces that catch the light, move against the skin and create subtle dimension.
Metal cotton introduces an almost architectural luminosity, while fluid modal, exceptionally soft and distinguished by its peach-skin hand, follows the movement of the body with lightness. Cotton-linen with a crinkled, embossed surface lends texture to precise constructions, while crisp taffeta supplies volume and definition.
Elsewhere, Mantù finds beauty in materials that embrace imperfection. Crushed cotton and linen retain their naturally wrinkled surfaces, turning irregularity into an intentional aesthetic gesture. Exceptionally lightweight linen-ramie meets delicate sangallo, creating a feminine interplay of texture and transparency that feels particularly suited to the warmer months.
Exclusive floral prints bring another expressive current into the collection. Developed specifically for Mantù, the florals introduce movement and individuality while remaining in harmony with the clarity of the silhouettes. Rather than overwhelming the clothes, print becomes part of their rhythm. This emphasis on materiality is closely connected to Mantù’s identity.
Founded in 2008 from Castor Fashion’s vision to create an in-house brand, Mantù carries the cultural heritage of Mantua within its name. Its origins evoke the Latin phrase associated with the Roman poet Virgil, “Mantua me genuit,” or “Mantua gave me life.”
Mantua’s relationship with art, architecture and Italian craftsmanship continues to inform the brand’s sensibility. Fine raw materials, meticulous construction and sophisticated production techniques form the foundation of a label that has developed an international presence while maintaining its connection to Italian manufacturing expertise.
For Spring/Summer 2027, that world expands beyond clothing in a significant way. Mantù introduces its first collaboration of this kind with GAVA, resulting in three signature bags created specifically for the collection.
GAVA emerges from the Gavazzeni family tradition in leather goods, with a manufacturing heritage dating to 1979. The company brings artisanal knowledge to a contemporary accessories vocabulary, with particular attention given to material quality, discreet details and modern interpretations of classic forms.
The meeting of Mantù and GAVA feels especially natural within SS27. The bags become extensions of the collection’s broader philosophy, carrying its appreciation for material, craftsmanship and considered design into accessories. In the season’s imagery, their generous proportions and tactile presence create a compelling dialogue with Mantù’s streamlined clothing.
The clothes themselves reveal their sophistication gradually. It can be found in the crispness of taffeta, the softness of modal, the irregularity of crushed linen or the precision with which a silhouette falls around the body. Craftsmanship is experienced rather than loudly announced.
That same sensibility allows the woman to remain at the center of the collection. The garments provide a framework for individuality instead of prescribing an identity. Texture supplies richness without visual excess, movement brings sensuality, and color creates emotion.
Tangerine perhaps expresses that philosophy most vividly. Radiant yet sophisticated, it injects warmth into a collection built around considered simplicity. Against navy, pink, red and beige, it becomes a chromatic expression of the season’s confidence—a flash of Mediterranean sunshine within Mantù’s precise Italian vocabulary.
Mantù describes Spring/Summer 2027 through the idea of “The essence of a woman,” and the collection gives that phrase a tactile reality. Femininity appears through freedom of movement, beautiful materials and clothes designed to let character emerge naturally.
From luminous cotton and airy linen-ramie to delicate sangallo, sculptural taffeta, exclusive florals and the new GAVA bags, every element contributes to a wardrobe governed by intention. And amid all that considered elegance, a burst of tangerine provides the irresistible final spark.
