At Milan Fashion Week FW25, Amato Daniele captivated fashion insiders and collectors alike with “Wunderkammer: A Tale of Orderly Chaos,” a showcase rooted in storytelling, heritage, and meticulous craftsmanship. Held at Spazio Lineapelle, the presentation transported guests into a cabinet of curiosities, echoing the natural beauty and marvels that influence the brand’s artisanal approach—from seashells and butterflies to antique botanical illustrations.
More than just a fashion presentation, the event was an immersive journey into a legacy that dates back to the late 19th century. It was then that Luigi Locati, in the Navigli district of Milan, began his artisanal career decorating sacred book covers in fine leather.
By 1908, his workshop transitioned into crafting elegant leather and fabric clutches, quickly becoming the first luxury leather goods manufacturer of its kind—earning a loyal clientele among Europe’s aristocracy.
Fast-forward to today, and Amato Daniele remains a symbol of timeless refinement. The FW25 collection highlighted soft suedes and leathers in rich, elegant tones. Especially noteworthy were the brand’s famed evening clutches—woven by hand with extraordinary detail.
These coveted accessories, beloved by generations of style connoisseurs, include a particularly iconic model famously worn 17 times by Queen Elizabeth II. This piece alone embodies a regal nod to craftsmanship and continuity.
The collection today includes bags, shoes, and small leather accessories characterized by attention to details, finest leathers, and incredibly elegant decorative details such as their signature hardware and embroidery.
Blending nostalgia with innovation, the brand also introduced its latest signature creation: the “1908” perfume. Unveiled at the show, this scent pays homage to the origins of the maison, adding a seductive olfactory layer to the brand’s tactile universe.
The collection and the event stood as a powerful reminder of Amato Daniele’s place in fashion history—balancing quiet opulence, narrative depth, and artisanal finesse. In a fast-paced world of fleeting trends, Amato Daniele’s “Wunderkammer” reminds us that true luxury is timeless, personal, and steeped in stories waiting to be carried forward.
