As fashion week took over Milan, Edward and Akua Enninful brought an entirely different kind of spotlight to the city: the world’s creative elite gathered on September 26 to celebrate the launch of the siblings’ new media and entertainment venture, EE72.

The evening unfolded in two elegant acts. First, an intimate dinner held in partnership with Moncler at the storied Portrait Milano. Then, an after-party just a few blocks away at the effortlessly cool Rumore Bar, where DJ Larizzle provided the soundtrack for a night that celebrated not only fashion and culture but a bold new chapter in media.

EE72 marks Edward and Akua Enninful’s first joint venture of this kind — a creative studio and media company that promises to produce content across platforms and genres, highlighting global narratives and emerging voices in fashion, film, art, and beyond. The Milan celebration coincided not only with Milan Fashion Week, but also with the official debut of the company’s flagship publication, 72 Magazine, available now in print and digital formats.

On the guest list were some of the most influential names in fashion, entertainment, and media. In attendance: Naomi Campbell, Simone Ashley, Alton Mason, Pat McGrath, Poppy Delevingne, Derek Blasberg, Lauren Santo Domingo, Federico Marchetti, Caro Daur, Ferdinando Verderi, Michele Morrone, Natasha Poly, Natalia Vodianova, Mariacarla Boscono, Steve McQueen, Afef Jnifen, Natalia Bryant, Eiza Gonzalez, and Remo Ruffini, among others. The crowd reflected the company’s ethos: international, inclusive, and undeniably forward-thinking.

The first celebration took place in New York, setting the tone with a stateside unveiling that drew creatives, tastemakers, and industry leaders. A week later, Edward and Akua hosted an equally dazzling gathering in London, Edward’s longtime creative home and the city where he made history as the editor-in-chief of British Vogue. Now in Milan, they brought their vision to continental Europe — and all eyes are on Paris, where the launch series will conclude on Friday, October 2, during Paris Fashion Week.

Speaking at the event, Edward Enninful — former British Vogue editor-in-chief and one of the most influential figures in contemporary fashion — emphasized that EE72 is more than just a production company. It’s a “creative universe,” as he described in recent interviews, with ambitions to redefine how stories are told and who gets to tell them.

His sister and co-founder Akua Enninful, a veteran stylist and producer, echoed the vision. Together, they bring decades of experience across editorial, styling, and cultural production to a venture that promises to operate as both a platform and a provocateur.

EE72’s first project, 72 Magazine, is itself a manifesto. Mixing global perspectives, bold photography, and longform storytelling, the magazine sets a tone of ambition, intelligence, and fearlessness — and establishes the brand as one that lives far beyond the page.

If Milan was any indication, EE72 isn’t just entering the cultural conversation. It’s reshaping it.
