We might all think that New York Fashion Week FW17 started on Thursday February the 9th yet there is always a couple of days filled with fashion-related engagements. For me, it was the Fashion Meets Tech panel discussion organized by Epson at the ‘Current’ event space at Pier59 Studios featuring industry experts – including designer Erin Fetherston – discussing the future of fashion and latest changes affecting the whole fashion scene.
Gudrun & Gudrun presentation was an impressive brand debut in the US market, at a cozy pristine white space, attended by industry notables and it girls, including Natalie Joos. The ethereal knitwear and display dress in pastel hues looked stunning!
‘Epson Couture’ followed with an evening presentation at the IAC Building across Chelsea Piers featuring those designers who are using the brand’s digital printing technology to create impressive fabrics and cool outfits.
On February the 8th, Kendall Miles presented her sultry & chic FW17 shoe collection. For next season, she designed boots, slingbacks, block-heel pumps, and fur-accented sandals presented at Spring Studios. The collection is hand-crafted in Italy and focuses on femininity and the geometry of things.
