At Milan Fashion Week SS26, Alessandro Enriquez invited the fashion world to indulge in a feast of color, nostalgia, and Italian flair with his latest masterpiece, “La Nuova Collezione.” Inspired by Italy’s most beloved dessert — gelato — the collection captures the carefree spirit of summer through a kaleidoscope of prints, textures, and emotions.
A love letter to Italian heritage wrapped in the joyful swirl of pop culture and romance, Enriquez’s vision transforms the runway into a gelateria of style.
From the first look, a playful rhythm emerges — strawberries mingle with polka dots, leopard prints flirt with bold stripes, and every garment seems to whisper, “La dolce vita lives on.”
Collaborating with fashion icon Rossella Jardini, Enriquez infused the collection with refined playfulness and a touch of nostalgic glamour.
Together, they sculpted a universe where tradition meets modern exuberance — ‘80s-inspired denim embellished with golden details harmonizes with voluminous duchesse skirts and flirtatious cocktail dresses that sway to the beat of Italian pop.
The presentation itself was a celebration of joy. Set against a vibrant backdrop inside the historical building of Circolo Folologico in Milano, guests were treated to a multisensory experience — floral wraps as gifts, pastel hues melting like sorbet across the set, and a palpable sense that this was more than a fashion show; it was an ode to Italy’s heart and soul.
“La Nuova Collezione” is Alessandro Enriquez’s sweetest chapter yet — a celebration of style that’s as irresistible as a scoop of pistachio on a hot Milan afternoon.
