AGL introduces a special limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Observed by Us, the creative venture co-founded by actress Kirsten Dunst and illustrator Jessica Herschko. This joyful partnership blends Italian artisanal shoemaking with nostalgic flair, celebrating female creativity, friendship, and craftsmanship across generations.
The idea was born from a deep-rooted connection. Dunst and Herschko, friends for over 20 years, created Observed by Us in 2020, drawing on their shared European heritage and a mutual love for vintage aesthetics, childhood wonder, and imaginative storytelling. Their goal was to build a brand that uplifts and inspires creative spirit—values that harmonize beautifully with AGL’s legacy as a multi-generational, women-led business run by sisters Vera, Sara, and Marianna Giusti.
“We are so excited to work with AGL, a multi-generational, women-run company in Italy to create this capsule collection that we hope will evoke feelings of youth, beauty, and nostalgia,” said Dunst and Herschko. That intention is evident in the handcrafted nature of each piece. The capsule reimagines five of AGL’s most iconic silhouettes, brought to life with hand-embroidered illustrations designed by the Observed by Us duo and produced in AGL’s artisanal laboratories in Italy.
Each design reflects the distinctive artistic vision of the collaboration while preserving the timeless quality and elegance AGL is known for. The result is a poetic collection that bridges heritage and innovation, fantasy and functionality. In keeping with the values at the heart of this project, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Lega del Filo d’Oro Foundation, which supports individuals with sensory disabilities.
