Moiré Gallery Milano welcomes the summer season with an immersive tribute to Italian elegance and artistry through its vibrant new setup, “La Dolce Vita.” Located in the heart of the Quadrilatero district at Via Borgospesso 18, the exhibition captures the joy, nostalgia, and refined aesthetic of 1960s Italian summers, seamlessly blending the worlds of fashion and contemporary art.
Curated by gallery founder Ouafa Lotfi Tahoun, “La Dolce Vita” is more than an art show—it’s a sensory experience. Featuring works by celebrated Italian artists Marco Lodola, Nicoletta Gatti, Daniele Fortuna, and Maurilio Catalano, and complemented by the Spring/Summer 2025 “Mediterranea” collection from Crida Milano, the exhibit weaves together visual expression and sartorial excellence.
Crida Milano, the fashion brand created by Cristina Parodi and Daniela Palazzi, introduces its latest collection characterized by fluid silhouettes and a palette inspired by the Mediterranean. The pieces embody authentic Italian craftsmanship, using natural silks from Como and fine cottons from Bergamo, and each garment bears the name of an Italian locale. The “Mediterranea” collection is an ode to timeless femininity and effortless elegance, grounded in Italy’s artisanal heritage.
The art component of the exhibition adds dynamic layers of interpretation. Marco Lodola, a co-founder of the New Futurism movement, brings his signature luminous sculptures to life with bold acrylics and retro themes.
Nicoletta Gatti explores the essence of color with monochromatic purity, while Daniele Fortuna bridges classical form and pop art through colorful wooden sculptures, showcasing three exclusive pieces inspired by the exhibition itself. Maurilio Catalano’s dreamy paintings, deeply inspired by the sea and Sicilian culture, complete the visual journey with whimsical tones and evocative narratives.
This collective showcase represents a riot of colors and interpretations, moving from soft pastels to bold primaries, from nostalgic motifs to avant-garde forms. It offers an invitation to embrace joy, beauty, and the uniquely Italian sense of “Dolce Vita”—a lifestyle of carefree sophistication.
Opening: The exhibition launches on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, with an invitation-only event and remains a must-visit for design lovers throughout the season.
