Milan’s design landscape welcomes a compelling new name this season as Zanclea makes its debut at 10 Corso Como with a collection conceived for the realities of contemporary life. Launching on June 9, the brand introduces a fresh perspective on luxury accessories, one shaped by movement, functionality, and the evolving role of women in business, creativity, and global culture.
Presented within a dedicated installation featuring a monumental flower motif, a symbol woven into the brand’s identity, the launch places femininity at the center of the conversation. The immersive display showcases seven handbag and accessory designs presented in a sophisticated palette that includes burgundy, white, taupe, and other refined shades, reflecting the many dimensions of modern womanhood.
At the heart of the collection are three distinct families of bags: ELLE LINE, SHE LINE, and LEI LINE. Each has been imagined as an expression of a different personality and approach to life. ELLE embodies romance and sensitivity, SHE captures energy and momentum, while LEI reflects clarity, structure, and reason. Together, they form a design narrative that acknowledges the complexity of contemporary women and the multiple roles they navigate each day.
The collection arrives at a moment when mobility has become an essential part of modern living. Professionals increasingly move between cities, meetings, airports, creative studios, and international destinations, carrying far more than personal belongings. Laptops, chargers, notebooks, travel documents, and daily essentials have become indispensable companions, requiring accessories that can keep pace with demanding schedules while maintaining a polished aesthetic.
Zanclea’s answer lies in a design philosophy that merges elegance with adaptability. Lightweight and spacious, the bags are engineered to transition seamlessly throughout the day. Removable straps allow each design to transform into a practical backpack, offering versatility without compromising visual refinement. The result is a collection that speaks to women who value efficiency as much as style and who seek products capable of supporting a dynamic lifestyle.
Sustainability also plays a significant role in the brand’s identity. Developed in collaboration with ACBC, the Italian company recognized for its research and innovation in responsible materials, the collection incorporates predominantly recycled components. The exterior features recycled polyamide, while the lining contains a high percentage of recycled polyester, reflecting a commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining quality and durability.
The debut extends beyond fashion. Following the presentation, Zanclea will host a Leadership Talk dedicated to female entrepreneurship and contemporary leadership. Founders Maud Laverdant and Mafalda Aiello will join international guests from the worlds of business, technology, mobility, and design for a discussion centered on how women are reshaping industries through innovation, creativity, and forward-thinking approaches to problem-solving.
The conversation mirrors the broader vision behind the brand. For Zanclea, technology is not limited to digital tools. It encompasses material innovation, intelligent design, ergonomic thinking, and products that simplify everyday experiences. This wider interpretation of technology reflects a growing shift within luxury, where functionality, sustainability, and design excellence increasingly coexist.
