Zoulias: Tea Party Inspiration on Catwalk!

Vassilis Zoulias – a favorite Greek designer working in Athens – made once again his own statement about all-time classic looks. Inspired by great divas such as Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot and Amy Winehouse, he created a very beautiful, colorful, retro and romantic Spring/Summer 2012 Haute Couture Collection presented with a tea-party theme at the fabulous Hellenic Motor Museum, a place that hosts a unique collection of old and newer glamorous cars. The designer’s love for older decades such as 50’s, 60’s and 70’s made a perfect match with the collector’s eclectic taste who offered an amazing, full-of-nice-cars setting for the show. Extravagant jewelry was made by another Greek designer/artist Pericles Kondylatos. Tea was served at the entrance and with a cup of it, most guests made their way through the exhibition and upstairs to a spacious hall were cars and models mingled graciously a little later. I was front-row and this permitted me to take adorable photos!
