During the electrifying buzz of the Cannes Film Festival, Ray-Ban and A$AP Rocky took the celebrations to the sea with an exclusive after-party that became one of the most talked-about events of the week. On May 20th, aboard the ultra-luxe catamaran “This Is It,” the duo hosted a high-wattage celebration marking the European debut of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer — Rocky’s bold reimagining of the classic silhouette.

Anchored just behind the Palais des Festivals, the floating venue served as the perfect backdrop for a night of fashion, music, and cinematic flair. Guests were welcomed by a red-lit photocall, stepping into a glamorous space that mixed old-Hollywood charm with A$AP Rocky’s signature cultural edge. Cigar trays, custom cocktails, red uplighting, and vintage-style popcorn machines set the mood as sounds from Kelvin Krash transitioned into an energetic set by A$AP Lou.

The guest list read like a who’s who of global stardom: Rihanna, Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, Paul Pogba, Jameela Jamil, Jeffrey Wright, Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin, Lance Stroll, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell, Alton Mason, Leomie Anderson, and many more turned up to celebrate Rocky’s cinematic milestone and latest design drop.

At the center of it all was the new Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer — a bold, color-blocked take on the iconic frame, available in saturated hues like red, white, yellow, green, and pink. Designed with Rocky’s New York sensibility, the Puffer offers a futuristic update that merges street style and luxury in a statement-making silhouette. Worn by nearly everyone at the event, the eyewear made an instant splash ahead of its official June release.
