New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2021 – Prabal Gurung is in the Mood for Love

Prabal Gurung was “In the Mood for Love” – the name of his FW21 collection – yesterday on Valentine’s Day. He participated at the NYFW this season with a digital presentation-video, a love letter to NYC, the city that makes you feel loved. The looks were flirty, retro-inspired, drawing themes from the city’s multicultural history, lots of frills, flowers, polka dots, things that make you happy. A fun-loving spirit and an aura of optimism, that nothing has changed in our hearts was the key to this concept. Crazy and romantic, with jazz vibes, and the possibility of the impossible, the designer’s interpretation of the city is one that makes us smile. Who doesn’t love tiered ruffles and polka dots (for women and men)?
