It’s mostly inspired by Greek traditional costumes which are all about glamour and warm colors. I picked my mermaid golden-sparkle Karen Millen dress and matched it with a golden hand-made brooch on my wool Columbia cap and Sebastian heels which, by the way, have also red soles (the source of a recent debate), with the only difference that they degrade into black close to the heel. My amazing shoes are adorned with Swarovski crystals in orange hue. I feel as if I am ready to dance some Greek traditional tunes, but still I know that I was never familiar with this kind of music. Nevertheless, I think that I reproduced, in a very fresh way, the rich in textures and colors traditional Greek costume of ‘Amalia’ and in order to be more convincing I adopted a white Brooks Brothers shirt under the dress which brings it a little bit closer to the original. I also added a necklace with some interesting amulets and turquoise stone. Isn’t it festive?
