This fall, Milan’s Central Station is offering more than connections to cities — it’s offering a passage to the peaks. From October 1, 2025, to February 25, 2026, Italian outerwear icon Colmar is transforming the city’s historic train terminal into a striking tribute to alpine heritage and innovation with a new immersive pop-up store.
The installation, nestled inside one of Europe’s busiest transportation hubs, pays homage to Colmar’s deep ties to winter sports. Its design draws inspiration from the legendary Lagazuoi cable car in Cortina d’Ampezzo, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. A sleek cabin-like structure welcomes visitors with a bold visual language: a deep blue frame, snowy white interiors, and vivid red accents, accented by mirrored walls, LED lighting, and textile touches in wool — all evoking the pristine allure of the mountains while reinforcing Colmar’s unmistakable aesthetic.
More than just a point of sale, the pop-up is a living experience dedicated to Colmar Originals, the brand’s urban-casual line. As the months unfold, the space will evolve to reflect the rhythms of the winter season, introducing new storytelling elements, curated experiences, and digital content. Shoppers and passersby alike are invited to step inside, not just to browse outerwear, but to experience the soul of the brand — a celebration of sport, style, and snowbound adventure.
With over a century of history and a reputation shaped by world-class athletes, Colmar continues to bridge its alpine roots with modern design and technology. This pop-up underscores that legacy, reminding everyone — whether they’re catching a train or simply passing through — that the mountains are never far away.
