Milano Fashion Week FW26: Creative Debuts, Global Voices, and Olympic Synergy

Milan is preparing to welcome the world once again as the Fall/Winter 2026/27 edition of Milano Fashion Week is set to take place from February 24 to March 2. Anticipation is already building as the upcoming women’s collections signal a transformative moment for Italy’s fashion capital—one where innovation, international dialogue, and a surge of creative talent take center stage.

The official calendar reveals an impressive lineup of 162 appointments, including 54 physical shows, 8 digital showcases, 73 presentations, and a constellation of special events. This season introduces a wave of new names to Milan’s most iconic runways. Among the debuting brands on the calendar are Casa Preti, Florania, Max Zara Sterck, Simon Cracker, Tell The Truth, and Venerdì Pomeriggio. Edis Pala, I Am Isigo, Ivan Delogu Senes, and Uni Form will appear for the first time via the digital platform, expanding the reach of Fashion Week beyond the traditional front row.

A series of major creative appointments promises to redefine legacy houses. Maria Grazia Chiuri is set to present her first collection for Fendi, marking a bold new chapter for the Roman brand. At Marni, Meryll Rogge steps into her inaugural season, while Demna Gvasalia prepares to debut his vision for Gucci—one of the most highly anticipated moments of the week. Emporio Armani will also stage its first co-ed presentation under Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco, reflecting a broader shift in the industry toward integrated design storytelling.

Emerging talent will be a powerful throughline this season. Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) brings renewed focus to its Fashion Hub, now hosted at the historic Palazzo Morando in the Montenapoleone fashion district. Curated by Sara Sozzani Maino, the two flagship initiatives—Future Threads: Italy’s New Wave and New Gen, New Ethos—will highlight visionary designers pushing boundaries through craftsmanship, sustainability, and storytelling. Featured names include Marco Rambaldi, Cavia, Lapacifico, Unknown Artisan, and Victor Weinsanto, among others.

International collaboration reaches new heights with Soul Threads: Voices of Seoul, a joint project between Seoul Fashion Week and CNMI. The collective presentation, held at Boutique Antonioli, will feature five Korean brands—AMOMENTO, BESFXXK, DAILY MIRROR, JADEN CHO, and KIMHĒKIM—each weaving distinct narratives shaped by Korean identity, craft, and contemporary design. The project speaks to a broader vision of fashion as cultural exchange, stitching together Seoul and Milan through a shared sartorial language.

Retail also plays a crucial role in spotlighting emerging names. Rinascente Milano Piazza Duomo, in collaboration with CNMI, will host NEXT ON AIR, an installation dedicated to showcasing independent brands from around the world. From Moldovan womenswear label OK KINO to Sardinian beauty innovator IN AERAS, the lineup brings a dynamic range of perspectives to Milan’s central retail destination from February 24 through March 9.

This edition of Milano Fashion Week also aligns with the cultural momentum surrounding the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. A dedicated communication campaign—produced by CNMI, the Municipality of Milan, and Yes Milano—captures the aesthetic synergy between fashion and sport. Photographed by Filippo Tarentini and styled by Sofia Brini, the visuals are punctuated with Olympic symbolism and archival objects from the Olympic Museum, fusing performance and elegance in a distinctly Italian context.

Accessibility and digital innovation remain essential pillars. Shows will stream live on the official platform, milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it, and be broadcast via Tencent Video in China and The Asahi Shimbun Digital in Japan. Urban Vision’s Fashion LED Cube will return to Piazza della Croce Rossa, transforming the city’s streets into an open-air fashion theater from morning until night.

Strategic partnerships continue to shape the experience. Certilogo brings a forward-thinking approach to digital product identity and traceability, while Frecciarossa ensures a seamless journey for guests arriving from across Italy. Acqua Fiuggi and Franciacorta will once again accompany moments of celebration behind the scenes and in VIP lounges, reinforcing the enduring elegance of Made in Italy hospitality.
