Marsèll’s Spring Summer 2026 collection, Respiro, unfolds like an exhale—quiet, intentional, and exquisitely attuned to form. Rooted in the idea of breath, the season explores clarity and purity, encouraging a deeper appreciation for beauty stripped to its most essential lines.
Creative Director Marco Cima describes working within an atmosphere of calm and focus, allowing subtle contrasts to guide the design language. That sense of equilibrium becomes the emotional center of the collection.
Respiro concludes the brand’s recent creative trilogy, following Sospensione and Equilibrismo, and distills Marsèll’s core ethos into a refined, lyrical study of duality. Volumes are soft yet decisive, generous yet sculpted, fluid yet rigorously shaped. That interplay between inhale and exhale animates both the footwear and leather goods, resulting in pieces that feel serene, grounded, and effortlessly modern.
Materiality plays a defining role this season. Lightweight leathers and velvety suedes meet the structure of glossy and natural-grain hides, creating a rich sensory balance.
Embossed surfaces, woven textures, and natural textiles expand the tactile palette while maintaining the house’s quiet minimalism. Signature details deepen the narrative: hand stitching, precisely placed perforations, and leather-wrapped heels emphasize craftsmanship without interrupting the collection’s understated elegance. Even the nearly invisible leather soles feel intentional, reinforcing the theme of softness meeting discipline.
Color introduces its own breath of air. A vivid, sky-inspired blue anchors the palette, unfolding beside whites, sandy neutrals, pearly greys, calming greens, earthy woods, and reflective metallic accents that catch the light like a sudden flash. Black grounds the collection with its depth and clarity.
Footwear highlights reveal Marsèll’s range of emotional expression. Sleek black mules echo sculptural restraint, while delicate strappy sandals feel weightless and architectural.
Open-toe lace-up booties offer a study in tension and openness, and soft-textured sneakers bring an effortless, tactile charm. Each silhouette speaks to the brand’s devotion to minimal yet powerful forms.
The leather goods continue this refinement, evolving familiar house signatures with thoughtful precision. The Diessepi, Dritte, Fantasma, and Volta lines return with renewed attention to structure, proportions, and craftsmanship.
Internal reinforcements have been reconsidered, leathers reselected, and construction elevated. The hourglass hand stitching that characterizes Diessepi now extends across belts and small leather goods, strengthening the coherence of the collection.
At its heart, Respiro offers a moment of pause—a reminder to breathe, to observe, and to connect with objects that honor craftsmanship and clarity. It’s a season shaped by subtle contrasts and lasting intention, presenting must-have pieces that resonate long after the moment passes.
